- This is the site of the Government Printing Office, with links to executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the government. You can access the Code of Federal Regulations, Federal Register, U.S. Code, Supreme Court Decisions, Administrative decisions, and others. This site also includes a collection of historical documents important to U.S. democracy.

- This site is divided between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches. The Executive section offers links to the various government agencies, including the independent ones. There is information available on the state legislative proceedings, including members, agendas, schedules, committees, and the status of bills. - This site from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention provides addresses and price information for obtaining vital records (birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates) from all 50 states. There are also guidelines for what to include with a request to ensure it is processed properly.

- Provides information on and links to the two major United States political parties, followed by an alphabetical directory of the third parties, including a link to their home pages, and brief history of each.
- FactCheck

- Under the motto "Holding politicians accountable," this site from the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania seeks to determine the facts behind the campaign ads and news stories. Articles are sourced and linked to the original statements or data.

- The website for the Summit County Board of Elections provides election results for Summit County and links to the Ohio Secretary of State and the Federal Elections Commission. It also has a feature to find your polling place, as well as information about Ohio election statutes.
